“Great Product for a Great Price!”
We purchased this product in September and have been very pleased with it overall. If I have to list a 'negative,' the only one I can think of is that the water pressure isn't real great on the water dispenser in the door. Very roomy, easy to organize foods/drinks, great price!
Purchased this side by side in 2005. The icemaker broke after the first few weeks. We had an appointment through Sears with an 8 hour window. I stayed home from work to have the refrigerator repaired. The repair man tried to get me to buy a extended warrenty package as this unit had ice maker problems....

I've had this refrigerator for years, and works fine. Need to change the water filter every 6mo-9mo depending on use, but other than that maintenance is minimal. It just had a problem once, where it was leaking water from the bottom, and I had to call a repair man, but otherwise, no problems in 7 years.
I was able to get this appliance at a better price than I would have at one of those appliance discount stores, which had a bunch of hidden costs and upgrades that they tried to tack on. Whirlpool has always been a great appliance line since my childhood and I tend to go for reliability.
here is my problem with side-by-side fridges. I wish all the line from the water was inside the refrigerator. That way when you get water from the dispenser, its already cold. Its a simple thing, and you know they waiste enough space on other things in a fridge. However, that is my gripe about these in general, but its not specific to this model. This model is great, bigger at you house then in the showroom (fit lots more then I thought I would). Runs good, and quiet. No complaints
Love this frig. It is spacious and efficient.
