Whirlpool Velos SpeedCook Oven Microhood Combination —

We've owned our Whirlpool Velos for five months. The first couple of months I used it primarily as a microwave and tried out the convection oven feature for kicks a couple of times. I was very pleased with the performance. It wasn't until one night, in a rush with a hungry family to feed, that I discovered the true benefit of the Velos over a traditional microwave. In an effort to find the fastest way possible to cook chicken breasts, I tried the "sizzle pan" mode. Wow! In less than 15 minutes I had thorougly cooked (from frozen), juicy, tender chicken breasts ready to serve my hungry crew. This is the perfect appliance for families for whom week-night dinners are a challenge due to the time crunch.
