Yeah BlueCrewGuyInMa my only complaint is that foor us operating on the Kmart side of things, they should use both logos like they do on our business cards. Everyday I still get people that want to challenge me on the fact that the prices are the same. Some promos we don't qualify though. BUMMER!
Heck, I get people who want to challenge me on the basics of delivery rebates, prices at Essentials vs. mall stores, and even the price of Kenmore products at other retailers (yeah, I know). I always made my own business cards at vistaprint.com, because I found the company-provided brown-and-blue cards ugly and unweildy when it comes to presenting basic information. They're cheap, easy, and you can customize them however you want. I highly recommend it.

Agree.
Do you use the Sears company logo on your cards? My buddy who works at Sears Essentials was going to do that when store "ran out" ! of business cards but hesitated doing so. He was going to use a Avery template.
If so, does the company know your doing so as it may violate copyright laws?

When I was originally going to make cards of my own a few years ago, the DM at the time put the kibosh on it. However, having seen many other associates at other stores doing it, and having a new DM encouraging people to do anything they think will increase their sales, I went ahead and made my own. Yeah, I used the Sears Essentials logo. I've seen many other self-made cards with it, and unless you were using the cards for something other than Sears business, I can't imagine anyone would have any problem with it.
Remember, it's always easier to get forgiveness than permission.
Yes, I got the blue crew shirts but with a big old K emboidered in red. Like the shirt but when I'm in the dept. and have to tell customers that in so many words "This is Sears Major Home Appliances", they look a little confused. I have both Kmart and Sears logo on my business cards and this helps to clarify some customer confusion. Remember not everyone til this day knows about the Kmart/Sears marriage.
I just read a Sears Lawn & Garden Blue Crew description.
Which is OK.
The Tool Department folks, who also cover Lawn & Garden, and Exercise, and Paint already have been told to wear some form of non-company provided blue shirts.
The important thing is to NOT match the original Blue Crew shirts, lest Customers think we are Appliance Sales Associates (a good way to "get hurt" if an appliance is sold by one of us - non-major appliance Sales Associates).
I could hold my note book, P-22 stapler, display case keys, snap-ring pliers, tape measure, demo tools and weed wacker piece of line AND... have a place for my "flare".
Would that be nylon, leather, or suede tool belts?
