This is crap, do not buy, the battery does not last past about 12 mows, and Worx will not stand behind the battery past a year, this is an expensive mower and the battery is the mower, and the batteries are around $200 about half the cost of the mower, be the time you buy another battery after a year, well after a few years you could have bought a real nice mower and besides that they are made in China. Save yourself time, money, aggravation, and hassle of dealing with people who could care less, at Sears, and at Worx. I am putting it on Craigslist, giving it to Goodwill or using it as target practice.
...

I bought this back in March and have been very pleased with the results. I waited to write this review so it can be as accurate as possible. I have a half lot in the city to mow. It's smaller design does take a little longer to mow. Overall it cuts very well. I have used all 3 options. The bagger fills up pretty quick (about 2-3 times around my lawn). The mulcher is great when you don't feel like bagging. It looks like you've bagged it even though you didn't! The side thrower tends to make a thick line sometimes instead of an even throw out. I can mow two times without charging. I've done three, but it was cutting it close. So that's approximately 3 hours of battery life.

Negatives are very few. The bagger fills up pretty quick. If you have really wet grass or tall grass, it'll cut, but it's difficult. Why are you mowing wet grass anyway, right?! It's not self-propelled and most of my lost has a slight pitch, so it can get tiresome pushing it when it's 90+ degrees outside....
...

I purchased this lawnmower and have used it to cut my lawn 4 times now. Wanted to make sure the flaws I perceived the first time weren't just a matter of me needing to get use to a rear wheel drive mower. It is supposed to adjust to my walking speed. it doesn't As a result it is contantly trying to run away from me, raising the front wheels off the ground and missing spots. The mower suction does not keep the grass pulled up enough (probably a blade design issue) when mulching and as a result I'll find individual blades of grass not even cut. When mulching it does not double cut the grass blade, which results in long blades of grass left behind in rows or clumps. My other mowers never did this when cutting without the bag. When I try to back up, it takes a while for the drive to disengage and I find myself either having to wait or pulling it backwards with the rear wheels locked - which means dragging it with no cooperative wheel motion. It takes me twice as long to cut my yard...
...

This is one great lawnmover. I love that it always starts, The battery lasts for 2 cuttings of 1/4 acre yard between charges. It's a bit heavy to push around, but it works fantastic and it is so quiet ! I couldn't be happier with any other machine ! I never need to worry about gas, oil or it not starting with a pull cord. It's ok on really tall grass, but if you cut once a week, it's fantastic ! Make your life easier and get one !!!
...

This a great mower. I have a 1/4 acre lot. I was able to cut my lawn 3 times with one charge and I still had power left before I charged it. I probably could have cut my lawn again. The bagger works very good and is easy to remove and empty. The one lever height adjustment works very easily. I don't miss having to have gasoline and oil. The mower seems to be lighter than a gas mower. If you require a self propelled mower this mower is probably not for you. I have a level lot and I have no problem pushing the mower. I love this product so much that I just ordered a rechargeable trimmer from Worx.
...

After years of apartment living, we bought a small house on about 1/3rd of an acre of land with a slopey, somewhat uneven backyard. We initially bought a manual, push lawn mower, but after cutting the lawn twice with it, it proved exhausting and impractical. We thought a gas mower would be loud, didn't want to deal with gas and oil and a pull cord, and didn't want the emissions, We didn't want the expense of hiring someone to cut the grass or buying a riding mower, so we decided to go electric, but with the large yard, we also didn't want to deal with a long cord. A battery mower was the choice, and after doing research on the internet, we decided to go with this model, which was bought in person at Sears, and came with a $100 rebate offer.

After using the mower for the past month (Oct. 2009), it has been a pleasure and a world better than the push mower (which we have kept to use for smaller and hard-to-reach areas). The battery for this mower weighs 30 pounds and is...
...

I've looked at several cordless mower's but this one seemed the best. Once I got it home I was delighted! It mows through anything; I even ran over my garden hose in the tall grass and it destroyed it but I didn't care because it showed me how powerful it was. It cuts through 3-4 inch grass with no problem. I couldn't be happier with this mower. If you're thinking about it don't hesitate. I ordered it online and it was the easiest process I've ever been through honestly.
...

I purchased this mower in April of this year with some reservations. I wasn't sure if it could handle 8,000sqft of lawn. I must say I was truly impress. This mower handle my lawn with no problems and had power to spare. Now I don't know if it was the weather, fertilizer or this machine but my lawn looks great after each cut. Oh,one more thing, since its not a self-propelled lawn mower, you get some exercise. Thanks! John N.Y.
...

My house sits on .25 acres. The lawn is a little hilly and pretty uneven. To mow the whole thing takes about an hour of solid mowing. This mower can do that without needing a recharge. It takes no effort at all to start and sound like a loud vacuum cleaner when running. The construction is sturdy and of high quality. The battery removal/install is easy and convenient. The handle is comfortable. Adjusting the height of the mower or any of the bag/mulch attachments is effortless. The mower is worth the price. My husband and I have been really impressed.
...

Bought this mower about 3 months ago. I had read reviews of some other cordless mowers and found more than 50% to be negative. I had over looked this mower due to cost at first. Although it had only 2 reviews, each was extremely positive. I went to Sears for another brand. Not in stock. Bit the bullet, bought the Worx, got a maintenace agreement (hey, it's not going to be just my problem if it's bad)and took it home. All what the other reviews say is true: No assembly, charged out of the box, cuts well thru most everything and yes, the bag is small. It's cut is only 19", yes, but the charge is great on the battery. I have an end townhouse. 7000 sq ft of yard...maybe. I mow and when finished, I hit the battery meter...still full. Well balanced and easy to push and turn despite its listed weight. Ergonomic handle helps center and focus the force of your push. Needless to say, I'm very happy with it. I've used it about 10 times and have learned to carry a lawn and leaf bag with me. Half way......

I bought this lawn mower after my gas mower fell apart after less than a year. I have only used it twice so far and it's very good. When the battery is fully charged, the mower can cut almost anything but as the charge wears out it starts loosing that kick...which is expected. The only draw back so far is that the bag can't hold too much grass. The one hand operation is awesome and though the mower is not self propelled, it can be easily controlled and very maneuverable. I have used it to cut wet grass, and dry grass easily. The height adjustment is by far the most easily controlled aspect of any lawn mower I have ever used. I have only had this beast for a couple of months and as such it hasn't earned 5 stars yet.......

The mower setup was easy. Charged it overnight and it started right up with a push of a button, performed flawlessly, stored easily with a quick, one-squeeze, fold-down handle.

The height adjustment similarly is easy by just moving one large knob from a 3 1/2 inch cut down. The handle height adjustment allows comfortable pushing. The machine mulches very well and the cut is even.

This is much easier to operate than the push power mowers I grew up with; then when my parents bought an electric mower, throwing the cord was a pain and a hazard. I've owned two Lawn Boys that were self-propelled. Wish this was too, but the Worx is an easy push. The cordless Worx exceeds my expectations.

After two mows, and many minutes left on the charge, I love the mower but wish the manual had been more instructive, although there is so little to adjust, I guess they kept it very simple....

Our old gas mower keeled over halfway through the lawn last weekend ... and then it rained every day all week. By Saturday, the grass was sopping wet and ankle deep.

We unpacked the Worx cordless mower from the box and - wow! - it gobbled through that grass! It cuts beautifully, neat and even, and the motor doesn't complain even when you run over sticks (not that you are supposed to run over sticks, but sometimes it happens). The mulching function makes the clippings literally invisible.

We knew we wanted a cordless electric mower. There are half a dozen choices on the market now; this is one of the more expensive ones, but it's worth it. As other reviews have noted, it's very thoughtfully designed. There's no assembly needed - it unfolds ready-to-go out of the box (and folds back down, with the squeeze of a lever, for storage). Yes, it's 80 pounds, but the better gas mowers are up there too, and great ergonomics mean you won't strain yourself pushing it. At 5'0", I particularly appreciated......
