I think the zenith converter box is so far the best one out of all of them. My father recently purchase this box and it's like looking at cable tv. All of the channels are so clear and has a few extra channels that are added. I myself am looking for this box which has been sold out is almost all the stores. If you can get one I would highly recommend it.

The Best

Found a slew of these at Kmart and purchased 6 of them (Used GOV coupons). Had the Insignia already which worked so well (especially) the signal strength feature. Heck, a cheap digital tv (HAIER-ABC) doesn't even have this....The remote buttons should ALL be labeled in B-R-I-T-E white. That's the only drawback that annoys me (old age)!!!!

excellent product

Five minutes after unpacking this converter I was receiving 8 channels.(Before I only received 3). The reception is superb. The provided remote does all the functions my TV remote does, with the exception of turning the TV on and off.(The TV is quite old).

very good box

I too like the Zenith convertor box. I bought the model DTT900 early on. And just recently bought the Insignia NS-DXA1-APT (which is made by Zenith, it's the exact same box but with analog pass-through). For some reason the Zenith works better. Maybe because "the quality goes in before the name goes on". You do have to have a good quality antenna too for these boxes to work worth a darn.

AWSOME!!!

RELUCTANTLY went out shopping for converter box's today. Went to four different department / electronics stores before I found a box with a remote that would control volume and power for the tv from one remote. Took less than 5 minutes to hook up and go through the setup menu. I got 6 fuzzy channels before... NOW I GET 17!!! Crystal clear! From a set of old rabbit ears with a little wire circle at the bottom for UHF no less. LOVE THIS THING! Nice remote to. Even comes with the battery for the remote
