Kenmore Elite Oasis HE 4.7 cu. ft. Capacity Top-Load Washer

Washer died after 3 years- Sears service is BAD!

all about design, warranty conscious, budget conscious, brand conscious, a Kenmore loyalist

Kenmore Elite Oasis HE washer lasted not quite 3 years. Control board (which was recalled anyway) died, touch pad didn't work reliably, loads went out of balance easily. Service tech has been here 4 times, still not fixed. Washer has been dead for nearly 3 weeks--Sears service keeps ordering parts, which take days to arrive, tech shows up next day after that. Washer wasn't bad when it worked. Loved the capacity, hated the tangling. Sears service is worthless. Don't buy the service agreement.
