Speaking of our new Oasis w/d set, do we need to register them online or anything? They didn't tell us at the store.

I have been reading your answers to a thread regarding the old Calypso Elite machines. I still have one, have the same problems as mentioned by all, etc. I have enjoyed reading your answers to some of the postings, and per the advice of you and other comments, have sent correspondence to searscares for some advice. At some point in the near future, I will be purchasing a new machine (hopefully from Sears again) and have read your comments about the new machines available. Thanks for your positive comments!

You seem to be know a lot about different washer and dryers. I'm getting ready to purchase a new washer and dryer. I have it narrowed down to the Kenmore HE TL, Whirlpool Cabrio, and the Maytag Bravos. From what I understand they are all sister machines. I have it more kind of narrowed down to the Cabrio and the Oasis because I want the steam cycle on the dryer and in the same price range. The steam on the Bravo seems to be much more pricey. My huge concern with this is I hear stories about clothes getting so knotted and wrinkled in the washer and ruining clothes that makes me afraid to purchase. From my understanding this was seen more in the models that are older when they first came out. Since then the wash plates have been redesigned and are suppose to not have as much problems. Is this true? What about the claims that they don't get clothes clean or get stains out? I don't want to waste my money and be unhappy with them. I don't really like the FL's because of the claims that they can become stinky and having to wipe down the seals and everything all the time. Please help so confused!

whoa! I pressed PAUSE to see if i had some other items for HOT. I'm washing a pillow and it said HOT. When I came back and pressed the Pause/Start again it came up to a DIFFERENT SETTING! Then I had to quickly read the manual and found out START/PAUSE lets you select another cycle?! So i corrected it. WEIRD?!

DId you get my question about if I can still use those dryer balls for antistatic? I think it got lost??
