I'm back from our Sisters trip to NYC. We had so much fun!  I wasn't ready to come back home & was hoping when I woke up this morning I would be magically transported back.

New York City was beautifully decorated for Christmas.  Rockefeller Center is amazing, the tree huge!

Now it's back to life, back to reality.....

This weekend, my sister and I are headed to NYC for 3 days.

I'm excited, scared and a bit apprehensive about  ........... public transportation, of all things!   Where I live, we don't use it...we have cars and can park right outside of where we want to go. So, for someone like me, this is a big deal!

I have seen enough movies to figure out the Taxi thing. The Subway SCARES me to death.  I have no idea what to expect.

Yet....I'm excited.  A new city, adventures and experiences.

It's that crazy time of the year already!!

Just when we get into the Back to School routine - it's the HOLIDAYS!  Time to plan, shop, send out Christmas cards, shop,  bake, shop, Christmas parties, Secret Santas, family gatherings and well....shopping!

Christmas is my favorite time of the year.  Not ONLY because of Santa but for the true reason for the season.  Celebrating the birthday of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

At Christmastime, I am truly thankful for my blessings in life - a wonderful, healthy family.  A career choice that I truly love.  Friends who are so close to my heart that they are "family that we choose to have".

I am so thankful for my blessings in life, which include all my Viewpointers out there!! :)

Happy Holidays to everyone!

Where did summer go? Gone are the lazy days of swimming and playing outdoors, chatting with neighbors at the fence, bathing suits, tank tops and baseball games in the park. Now it's back to school time. A daughter who is a kindergartner and is attending a full day class and is missed terribly during the day! A son who is an 8th grader and grew taller than me this summer! Back to rushing to ballet, soccer, hockey, football, fundraisers, school events, sweatshirts and snow pants! Where did summer go?
