Scheppach Deco-Flex Scroll Saw with Flexi Shaft (80779)

Scheppach Deco-Flex Scroll Saw with Flexi Shaft (80779)
if the scroll saw did not need adapters for the plain end blade and was was a tooless blade change and had good instructions i would have given it four stars. they supply the adapters but it's a pain to deal with, especially if you want to do inlay work.when tension is released the top adapter can slip off and the bottom making a top blade release difficult. i'm going to put this saw aside as a pin end saw only and get a porter cable scroll saw that comes with a stand, light and quick blade change FOR $189.00, untill i can afford a dewalt scroll saw.

In response to DOBBSJAY's comment from Oct 4, 2010:

I tried that and it didn't work. Perhaps I need someone to pull the motor while I try to move the belt. I may try using small motorcycle tire irons to pry the belt off. Or I could just let the motor run for a month to stretch the belt. Would appreciate your advising me of any success you had. Thanks, Les.
