This was the most I've ever spent on a pair of shoes to wear around the house. I purchased wide width and a size larger than normal and they were still a bit snug for a "house shoe". These slippers actually squeaked when I wore them the first couple of weeks. Even though they are leather, the tricot lining makes your feet sweat and the tag inside the top of slipper was a bit irritating on the top of my foot, probably because they are not true to size.
