In response to FacilityService's comment from Dec 20, 2010:

The store I have referenced is the Super K recently turned to Kmart/ Sears Outlet on North Military Hwy. Of course you need locks on the doors in dressing rooms, and I understand having doors that need a key to unlock from the outside. These doors lock themselves as soon as the door is closed. These doors do not have normal door knobs. The tab you need to pull down to unlock the door is unlike anything my daughter has encountered before and quite difficult for a small child to do anyway. There were not any associates around and she was too scared for me to go looking too far away. I was not about to leave my 1 year old alone in the hallway and crawl under to her so I told my 4 year old to crawl under the wall on the floor which was dirty- as in hair and dust- not an abundance of clothes. Also, the dressing rooms are dim. No lights are out, they are not well lit.

Thank you so much for replying!! Do you know that I have been complaining about this issue for a couple of years now through various outlets (surveys, kmart site, to the cashiers, and finally through the community ideas section)? The idea section of the community is the only place anyone ever addressed my concern. I so very appreciate you for responding, and it shows a concern for your customers.

Specifics for the District Manager: First off, yes, it is the Kmart in Franklin, NC. Remodeled: the interior was fixed up and cleaner, not the outside. And, yes, I want the Franklin, NC store to be cooler. Yes, I did noticed a slight improvement in this store this week, but no where near comfortable, more like decidedly warm, but at least not heat wave hot like before. I wanted to participate in a sale and take a break shopping, but I still could not stay, because it is still too warm. l left before doing all my shopping. Finally: Wow! 2011?? What could possibly be the holdup for the other units?
