Kenmore 3 Burner Gas Grill with Infra-Red Cooking
I bought this grill for the infared cooking technology. Had I known what a nightmare it is to clean, I would have selected another make or model. The cooking surface does not allow the oils, melted cheeses, etc. to pass through. Consequently, these by-products collect on the cooking surface and quickly become charred making it necessary to clean after each use. And cleaning is an absolute nightmare. Steel brushes and industrial strength oven cleaners only begin to clean the cooking surface.
Sears should consider revisiting the design of this grilling surface and offer a replacement grate...
