ugh! Ever since I decided to move in with my mother in Aug 2006:
first it was the boiler (in Sep 07, but actually, needed to be replaced 6 mths before I got here);
then it was the hot water unit (right before Thanksgiving 07, dumping over how many gallons of water on the 35ft x 15ft wall 2 wall carpet???...

Kenmore 500 Washer (Model 110)
Mr. Fix-it? I'm MzzFix-it..cos no one else can! I love the Kenmore 500 Washer (type 111-05); we got it last Feb/Mar 2008..excellant choice for the money and features....
the ONE problem is that THE DARN THING IS SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO LOUD! My mother loves to do laundry any time during the wee hours of the morning/ day; this thing keeps me up...wayyyyyyyyyy toooooo loud....(ok, I admit: the dryer is worse, far worse)
Like the feature of 2nd rinse, cos sometimes towels must be rinsed twice..get all that soap out...and love taht 'handwash' feature...mother's favorite...
love the washer; does wonderful...
