Lint filters through the dryer door and when the door is opened at the end of the dry cycle, the lint flys everywhere. The lint filter is in the very front of the opening of the dryer and is not very large considering the capacity of the dryer. Much of the lint stays in the bottom of the door and falls out when opened making a mess.
