Craftsman 33 Gallon Air Compressor # 919.168700

“runs almost continueously with moderate use.”

I Bought this 33 gallon model to replace the struggling 10 gallon model I had. But the compressor unit attached to the top of the 33 gallon tank does not recover quickly.

I have to say I was disappointed and should had returned it and bought a real compressor. The type with a single piston and belt drive motor for $50 more.

The craftsman compressor does get the job done, but it runs a lot and recovers slowly.

I should had taken more credence in the CFM ratings. Live, learn but most importantly "Live".

I wish the Drill and Flashlight came in a carry case.

My Power Miser 12 water heater just started doing the same yours did. The pilot goes out a few times a day. I haven't tore into inot it yet, but if you could provide me what was wrong with yours, it might sabe me a lot of time and frustration.

My biggest problem was that it was advertised as being eligible for the "Energy Star" rebate program, but it IS NOT! Sears has pulled that info from their sales brochures as well as their on-line site

HI--I have a similar problem? I had to shut down the unit for a day, and now I can't get the pilot light lit. The sparks are fine, but I only get a brief flame occasionally, then pfft. Please send your fix to andy314159@tx.rr.com, and I'll let you know if it works in my case too. Thanks much!

Just read your review, and we're having the same problem with our Kenmore water heater. The pilot light has been intermittent for the last year, and has recently been going out several times a day. Replaced the thermocouple twice, but it is still being problematic. Please forward your fix to me at pkins@att.net.
