Proctor Silex 1 qt. Electric Kettle
Husband bought this because my parents overseas have one - and use it daily for their instant coffe. I works quick, but, I think heating up a cup of water in the microwave it just as quick. Think it's really just an extra appliance taking up counter space. The other night heard a click click and then realized that our visitors must have left the unit on all day. No water was left in it. I guess it doesn't have an automatic shut-off like our coffee-maker. Lucky our house didn't burn down. For now, we unplug it when not in use so it won't accidentally be turned on.
