Flotec 3/4 hp Floodmate Submersible Sump Pump
I spent one month busting concrete, laying pipe, and pouring new concrete only to have those efforts squashed by the brand of pump I put in my new basement sump system. I bought a 3/4 HP Flotec pump as the backbone of my new drainage system. The first accumulating rainfall....the switch failed. I then installed a third party electronic switch and the pump started failing. I noticed oily residue in the sump pit so I assume something blew in the motor.
