About your Samsung plasma burn in: Samsung plasmas do have a "break in" period of about two months or so where you will notice burn in (especially of bright white images). After this time you will only notice mild burn in if you leave a bright white image up for a very long time. Also, for severe burn in, Samsung plasmas have a burn in "cleaner" feature that clears your screen of especially bad burn in. Pixel shift does help, but you may still see some burn with images left for several hours. Hope this was helpful.

this tv has pixel shift to prevent burn in - so gaming and other images wont burn in the screen
pixel shift can be set up to run like every two minutes and I dont even notice
