Craftsman 16 gal, 6.5 Peak HP, Detachable Wet/Dry Vac
While I really like this combo product, I have just now gone through my second broken impeller. The second impeller has lasted only 1.5 - 2 years. In both cases, the impeller has just sheared off. Other reviewers have suggested that this is due to stress when using as a blower.
I am now wondering if my best bet is to replace my broken impeller ($25 via spare parts) and buy separate blower, which presumably is better designed as a blower.
My first model lasted a long time and was under heavy use. I routinely used the blower to clean up large, heavy, wet big leaf maple leaves as well...
