I am pretty "allergic" to exercise, but as middle age is upon me, I had to get something to help with the mid-section. I bought the Ab Lounger 2 months ago and have been able to do 100 crunches every day without the discomfort of floor crunches or sit-ups. It's very easy to squeeze in 50 of these at a time and the chair is very comfortable. I highly recommend this item if you find regular crunches and sit-ups difficult or just don't like getting down on the floor.
