Spring Break Is Here!

Hello All! School Update: I officially have two classes left before I complete my A.S Degree!

I am so estatic, instead of partying this break, I have decided to focus on completing all of my assisgnments so that all I have left to do is to double-check the quality and accuracy of my work to make sure it is "A" material. My goal is to make 3 A's and 1 B.

I haven't been on here in a while because I have been really busy with school and working at Sears. I love my job and I love coming in to work everyday and I am so happy that everything in my life is falling in to place.

Christmas Eve!

Hello everyone! Merry Christams and Happy Holidays to all of you out there in Sears World! I am spendidng my day at Sears, working to make customer's happy.

I am so happy to be on Christmas break from school, I officially have four classes left before I graduate! yay! for me! I will be graduating in June with my A.S Degree in Medical Office Administration.

Then I will be off to UCF to complete my B.A in Health Services Administration, i am soooo excitied.

More exciting news to come, I will be sure to keep you posted!

Back to School!

It's that time again folks! I'm off to my third year in college, yay! This semester is even more exciting because a Junior I am learning more hands on knowledge about my career field. I will be taking Records Management & Legal Implications, Business Mathematics, Keyboarding & Document Processing II, and Body Sytems for the office.

I am also excitedly learning Spanish on a wonderful website called Livemocha.com. Any one interested in learning how to speak a new language, I highly recommend learning on this website. I was trying to find a good deal on a Rosetta Stone software package and came across a review to join Livemocha.com, it is free to sign up and so it the basic package. For a more challenging and comprehensive course, it is only $25.00! That's a knock-out compared to the price of Rosetta Stone and a college-level course.

I am thoroughly enjoying my studies and being a Sears Customer Service Agent. If anyone has any questions, please do not hesitate to ask me. I pride myself on coming to work everyday being customer focused and always being optimistic.

I will be spending alot more time on Mysears.com, as soon as I can squeeze out some time. i have lots of new things to review & share.

Finally the Semester is over!

I can not express how relieved I am about the semester ending. This has honestly been the most stressful semester of my life, with the election, the recession and just the stress of daily living, I am bushed!

I can finally relax and focus on the things that satisfy me. May 3rd is Friends and Family Day at Sears, I spent 1/4 of my paycheck at the last Friends and Family Day and it was well worth it.

I bought some much needed jeans (all of my old ones were outdated), jewelery, shoes, and a couple of tops. I also treated myself to a spa, I got a medi & pedi and my hair blown out :)

I also have an upcoming photo shoot in a couple of weeks (I have changed my look since the last one). I am hoping to put a portfolio together and start promoting myself as a commercial and print model. I also enjoy modeling so I would love to go to some auditions as well. I just found out I was picked for a casting call of a R&B music video, so that is exciting.

The casting call is down the street from Sears, so I won't have to worry about being later, which is awesome. I promise to come to this site more often now that school is done for three months.

M.I.A- I am soo sorry that I have been missing in action for so long on Sk-you, I have just received a promotion as a Resolution Specialist and I have been in full throttle training.

Also, the end of the semester is nearing and professors are pushing for end of the year tests, hw assignments and finals so my plate has been absolutely fully.

I promise by the end of April, I will have some new reviews up, I have watched some great movies, and I also want to share some new blogs!

Medical Terminology for the Office Class

Sooo, I am supposed to be paying attention in class as of right now, but...it's 3 hours long and honestly, my eyes are beginning to cross. This class was on available at night, and let me tell you.....I'm bored to tears.

This class is very critical to having a successful medical career because, how can you possible help diagnose patients when you don't know the terminology!!

Well, I promise to continue to study hard, the lectures are boring me to tears though. My first test is tomorrow and it's due on the 16th, so I have 6 days to understand everything on Ch.1-5 and it's an openbook/dictionary test, so I should do well.

 So far,

 My classes are all going well and I have received straight A's so far, so hopefully I can keep this momentum up through the end of the semester. Spring Break will def help starting March 5th.

Oh gracious! Class is about to end, phew! I surely needed a small wake up exercise, lol!

So, today I went to Sears Portraits to get my birthday pictures taken! I took them with my boyfriend and we actually got some really great shots, I am pleasently surprised.

The photographer had us do some quirky poses like, the one where he gave me a piggy-back ride, and where he lied on his stomache, and I lied on his back, lol. There were some really cute ones in there too! My bf thought they were corny, lol.

They should be ready for pick up on the 5th, so I will be sure to post them then! Hope you enjoy them =)

The Weekend is finally here!

Phew! Have I had a busy week, Unfortunately, I can't rest this weekend due to my procrastination, but, I thought I'd at least acknowledge that it is the weekend and I hope everyone else is enjoying it!

I have a lot of fun, but tiring projects to wrap up for school (not wrapping up, but starting it!) The second semester always seems the toughest, but I'm going to hang-in there!

Oh, and only 5 more days before my 20th birthday! Yay! That is definitely something to look forward too. I plan to take some pictures at Sears, they have a Sears Photography coupon on Sears.com that is valid until 1/31/2009, so I think I'm going to take advantage of that =)

Today is Barack Obama's Inauguration!

I am so proud to be apart of this history in the making. I was anxious, nervous and excited for the new President and his family all at once. I was also in pure awe at the site of the 1 million people and more who should up to support Obama on this historical day.

I love my country so much and I know that together we can make even more historical events such as this one come true. What a beautiful day!

Today, in 2009, I plan to volunteer more in my community and become apart of the movement that is shaking America.
