Wow, what a great read. This is the story of an elderly man who looks back on his life, and retells his story. It takes him through a part of his life where he came to work with a traveling circus. Circus life was rough, as were the people he met along the way. This story has mystery, intrigue, romance, and reflection. While it has a very serious nature, it has you completely engrossed in it's pages. This is the first book in over ten years that everyone in my bookclub agreed was a fantastic read. Hat's off to Sara Gruen's writing style. I understand it has been bought to be made into a movie....
