GE Appliances 3.2 cu. ft. I.E.C. Top Load Super Capacity Washing Machine (WDSR2120J)
I purchased this GE machine to replace a 7 year old Maytag that never lived up to it's name. The Maytag replaced a 14 year old GE that was problem free for the life of the unit. I've had the machine for a week and although it's in the basement, it has been the quietest machine of the three. The water pours into the drum instead of spraying in at high velocity and when it stops you don't hear the pipes slam. Make no mistakes, for $329 - $379 this is a no frills machine. No delicate cycle and no extra rinse, but I can't label those cons for that price. Drum size is ok, I haven't tried a quilt yet,...
