Kenmore 24" Built-In Dishwasher with SmartWash Cycle (1389)
I bought this because the price was good and I liked the way it looks. When I can get it to start, I'm happy with the results. It's easy to load, racks move smoothly, the dishes come out clean and dry, and it holds a lot. The trouble is, it does not start consistently. In fact, I'm lucky to get it to start at all. I suspect the electronic control panel is defective. I finally gave up and Sears will come out this week to take a look at it. Of course it will all be taken care of under warranty, but a new dishwasher should just work, and not require service the first month. Why is...
