I ignored this product, and chain-saw-type products because I never thought I would use/need them. But, when we retired, moved, and downsized, we found that we had neighbors whose trees and vegetation grew onto our property. With permission to trim the overgrowth, we found that we needed these types of tools. We are safety conscious and purchased a corded Black & Decker Alligator which, for the small to medium sized branches that we needed to tackle, we thought would be perfect, save for the inconvenience of the cord.
