I have been attempting to transfer one of the Gravely Videos from U-Tube. There are a number of Gravely Videos listed. Doris and Mailin are from Sweden. In particular they have a Gravely Tractor converted to Honda Power. The Swedish People are very innovative. They have modified the basic Gravely design to fit their basic needs.

I made a mistake about the strore named Kresge's. S.S.Kresge stands for Sabastian Sterling Kresge. He was almost one hundred years old. In 1962 KMART emerged as a special Kresge Venture and in 1977 the store name was changed from S.S.Kresge's to KMART. I just recently purchased a pair of shoes, Route 66 at the Cortland KMART Store and the last items I purchased at the Sears Store at the Pyramid Mall near Ithaca were four brand new BF Goodrich Tires for my Dodge Caravan. I've also purchased a pair of Craftsman Wire Strippers and a Craftsman Propane Torch. There was also a Craftsman Electric Chain Sharpener I was interested in. This would eliminate having to sharpen the chain by hand or taking it to a dealer to have it sharpened on the machine. It takes a lot pf filing to remove the white spot caused by speridization. My sister gave me a Craftsman Gift Card a few years ago for Christmas and I purchased a number of tools with it. I currently have a fourteen inch electric chain saw as well as a sixteen inch gasoline chain saw.

There is a KMart store in Ithaca and one in Cortland. There is a Sears store located at the Pyramid Mall. The Mall, although it is closer to Ithaca, is somewhat between Ithaca and Cortland. I still think of Kresgees from time to time. It was a five and ten cents store back in the fifties. They had an icecream parlor there, My Mom used to buy peanuts for my Dad there. The old Kresgees Store was located on State Street in Ithaca. The building is still there. There is another store there today.State Street was open back then. Now this part of State Street has become the Commons. My Mom knew someone wh o worked there.
Posted on Mar 12, 2009My Mom used to take me to eat ice cream at Kresgees when I was little. Ironical how this store became the Big K. There is a KMart store in Ithaca and Cortland. I have been purchasing merchandise at the Cortland KMart for some time now.The store is located in what used to be one of the first Pyramid Malls in the area. They are open when many of the other stores are closed.
