This is my first laptop and I did as much homework as I could before buying. I should have done my homework on customer care as well. Less than 5 months after buying it I had to send my new laptop to HP for repair. They repaired the wrong thing (soundboard) and wanted to charge me $600.00 even after admitting it was not fixed. Luckily I had an extended warranty through the store I bought it from and they ended up finding the problem (motherboard) and fixing.
