Bonnie Plants Winter Kale
On a friends recommendation, I went to K-Mart to shop for winter kale plants that I could put in my garden. Kale is very popular in this region for use in Portuguese style Kale Soup.
While the selection was minimal as expected at this time in the growing season (late Sept.), I found a pot with 2 very healthy kale plants. I purchased the pot for a very reasonable price of $3.29 (that's $1.65 per plant) and transplanted these kale plants to my garden.
