In response to SHC-Mike's comment from Dec 9, 2009:

Thanks so much! :-) I will try it although it does'nt sound too easy. There was a white blob thing on one part of stem and when I squished it picking it off red goop came out? Was pretty gross! Lol! Did'nt see a insect persay. Just now, when I left and moved it in the sun it's gotton syrupy sticky all over just like it was misted with simple syrup and honey or somthing. I've had plants for years and have never seen such a odd parasite infestation situation. It's so weird because I'm renting in a huge empty foreclosing house with nothing in it except for my room and I'm way on the third floor. However we did have an unusal fly population awhile back at the end of summer. Maybe thats what got them in the house. My other plants are 2habeneros in a plastic swan planter and fortunately their ok. Which is great cause thats my snack plant YUM!! The other is a palm type. Maybe you could tell me what it is. Its a big bulb that sits atop the dirt with little rootlings in dirt. It flows out as it grows very very long palm leaves. I really like my 4plants but believe me they have been through the ringer. The palms leaves are always getting torn because I constantly have to move them in the sun around the house. The poor habenero really needs to be transplanted and suffered a major aphid problem a few years ago. All seems to be ok now tho and it is full of beautiful orange peppers just waiting to be snacked on! The poor pointsetta we have been talking about has been beaten to a pulp the last 2 years. Hada a roommate that use to freak out and busted it up bad but it held in there.LOL!! Then in moving a year ago it got banged up some more and even now when I move it for sun sometimes it gets busted up. It's a true survivor tho, kinda like me in away, so I hope I can get it through this infestation thing. I'l try and clean it well but it's really covered in the syrupy stuff...kinda like a sci fi movie?! Thanks much again for your help and I'l give it a shot.

PS: I forgot to ask...How in the world did the larvae get in and up to the third floor of the house, without so much as a window being open? Major curious! Thanks SHC-Mike! :-)

Oh Yeh, you were right on the money SHC-Mike! It's the gross little white aphid problem. It's gotton so bad now the sticky stuff is even on the planter. What can I do now to save my plant bud? Preferably somthing thats fairly economical, like perhaps a soap sray? Please let me know ASAP as my bud is looking bad. :-{ Thanks much,
