Samsung - LN-T4065F 40 in. HDTV LCD Television
Bought this a couple years ago to replace a 32" Sony Wega (that thing weighed a TON!), and I couldn't have been happier. I chose this after researching quite a bit. It was rated very highly on CNET, and I liked it the picture much better than comparably priced Sonys at the time. And I had a specific size constraint...there were only about 5 TVs in the 40" category that would fit in the cabinet space I had. Overall, a fantastic TV. The only downside, like many flat panel TVs, is the sound quality. But I use it with a 5.1 system most of the time, so it's not a big deal.
