“almost an excellent unit”

Almost excellent. However, the basic wrench set consists of 1/4 -1 1/4 in and comparable metrics with ALL metric sizes (though I have never used #9). Most wrench and socket set storage leave too much empty space. This doesn't. Having SAE and metric in the same unit makes sense because of the multiplicity of fastener types one runs into plus the issue of worn fasteners. I filled every space with craftsmen wrenches by boring holes in the large end to allow the longer wrenches' open end prongs to stick through. Some makes of wrenches are shorter and will fit as is. I wish there were more METRINCH...
