I 've had this washer since early 2007.  It was a gift from my grandmother who was visiting and was tired of going to the laundromat.  I think it works great and I have never had problems.  I've used this in an upstairs laundry room with very little noise.  If there was a very large load, some shaking would be noticeable but not enough to bother me.  I love my washer!
