I am looking at black-friday adds and would like a comparison on the Kenmore HE3T (Sears) v LG WM2101HW (Home Depot) v a comparable Frigidaire Machine (i am not sure which one Best Buy is selling for $1000) - they are all running about $1000 Posted on Nov 19, 2009

The Kenmore will have greater cleaning power, on average. The steam in the dryer is also integrated, rather than using a water pan.

Front-load washers and HE top-load washers (Oasis/Cabrio/Bravos) are comparable for efficiency and cleaning. It's a matter of preference and your laundry area more than anything.

If the machine is going on a second floor, the LG would be better. Otherwise, go for the Kenmore. Don't concern yourself with the Frigidaire, as it will have smaller capacity and less cleaning power than the Kenmore or LG, with little price difference.
