On Nov. 16, 2009 I purchased a display model camera--the Canon SX 10--at your Garden City, N.Y. store for $244.93 plus tax [clearance price]. It was the last one available. The batteries in the camera were dead so I could not test it. When I got home and inserted new batteries, a message appeared on the LCD screen----"LENS ERROR". The camera did not function.
