Craftsman 2700 PSI , 2.3 GPM Briggs & Stratton Powered Pressure Washer, 49 states only

Burst hose

Just got home with a new 2700 psi washer with the B&S quick start engine , which quickly and easily started after assembly which was also easy. Too bad the high pressure (3000psi max ?) line burst  immediately upon start-up. Even though the trigger was pulled, the water was in the pump before starting, and my garden hose has normal to low pressure (around 20psi). It seems quality control just is'nt what it used to be. I'll head for the local Sears Monday morning and voice my disappointment. Maybe a hose that can handle a little more pressure than the max. expected from the washer may solve this...

Jfinbos in Salem : As much as I'd love to be a reviewer and thank you for adding me to your circle I'm finding this to be as futile a resource as it was to ask for support from Sears or Maytag in the first place. It has become a poor use of my time as I don't need to argue with the very people who were suppposed to support me......... I have unsubscribed and will not further review Sear's products. As of today, I realize I need to find a new vendor who has my best interests in mind. I will be shopping elsewhere for the $25,000 home improvement project I've just started. I grew up with Sears, but times have changed.

In response to jfinbos's comment from Jan 28, 2010:

I didn't really think saying that he was condescending and degrading towards customers was coming to his defense.

*shrug*

I guess that goes to what I was saying, about you both ignoring what other people say to support your own ideas.
