Kenmore 400 3.2 cu. ft. Top-Load Washing Machine (2942)
We splurged and got this economy model Kenmore washer at Sears. Very basic but figured it would be fine because we like simple things. I don't know what mechanical genius engineered this washer but you have to use either all hot water or all cold water. If you set the temp to warm, the washer regulates the water temperature for you by constantly running hot and then cold It shuts on and off, on and off. It's so totally annoying and loud! I've been just running hot. So much for saving energy!
