Thank you so much for contacting me! I'm VERY happy with my Samsung. The 29 cu ft just can't be beat in a non-commerical fridge/freezer. I specifically chose a single freezer drawer type over a dual freezer drawer as I felt the mechanics/drawer surface of a 2nd freezer drawer took up some valuable freezer space. Not a lot, but some. The top drawer of the Samsung, even though it does not pull out all the way does not pose an issue for me. The drawer is shallow enough that you aren't digging through a lot of stuff to get to things in the back of the drawer. However, it's only my husband and myself, all our children are 4-legged, so we're not constantly opening the freezer with having the ice in the door. And we eat mostly produce/fresh food and we don't have a lot of things in the freezer beyond stock up of meat and bread. That drawer not pulling out all of the way may be an issue if you have a family and you are into the freezer a lot. And/or a dual freezer may be the way to go as frequent opening of a smaller drawer will result in less cold loss. Hope this helps!
