I purchased this sewing machine after my two hand-me-down sewing machines from my family went kaput right in the middle of making a handbag for my friend.  I had to find something fast and after reading the reviews for this "diamond-in-the-rough", I went to the nearest Sears and purchased it.  Easy to find at the store, great service at the cashier's checkout and I was on my way home.

I've been sewing with this for two weeks now, almost everyday going through four to six layers of fusible-interfaced micro-suede without hesitation.  I'm making sure to use the heavy-duty green colored needles...
