Purchased this stove Jan 17, 2006  Model 790-9621.  On Jan 17, 2007 repair service had to repair a leakystove door. August 21, 2007 oven overheated while baking a cake.  Cake was placed on middle rack with an aluminum cookie sheet placed on the rack below.

Over heating caused the cookie shee to MELT and DRIP ONTO THE BOTTOM OF THE OVEN  WHERE IT FUSED TO THE METAL of the oven bottom causing smoke and a strong odor.  Repair service agents used their meters checked the stove and said there was NO problem.  I pursued this further with Customer Service but without success.
