Hello again! Remind me, is this for a second floor, first floor, or basement?
The WP 9450 is a great machine, with TumbleFresh in the washer and EcoNormal drying in the dryer. They save lots of water and energy, and do a fantastic job washing. As you may or may not know, I've got the WP WFW9400SS (4 cu. ft.), and I've never had a better washing machine. The 9450 only improves on a winning formula.
If this is for a second floor, disregard all Whirlpool-made products (Whirlpool, Maytag, Kenmore-equivalent). Get a direct-drive set with a high-performance vibration system, like Electrolux, Samsung.
For a first floor or basement, the Whirlpool set is pretty tough to beat. You may also want to consider the Twilight Kenmore HE5t Steam set, which is 4.4 cu. ft. and a Hot Deal at $2049 with electric dryer (slightly more for gas). It's a kissing cousin of the Whirlpool Duet Steam, but without TumbleFresh. Or, if you like red, you can get the Barolo HE5t set. The washer is slightly smaller at 4 cu. ft., but you get a free laundry tower thrown in when you get the set at $2049.
All of these machines are excellent performers that you'd be happy with. Let me know if you have any other questions!
