TiVo HD Digital Video Recorder
The features alone provided by the TiVo HD make it more than worth while. This unit offers the ability to stream media content from your computer across a wired LAN (or wireless with wifi adapter). I have eliminated the need to physically store my entire DVD collection by storing all movies, etc on a hard drive in my PC. Not to mention that this unit is compatible with the Netflix "Watch Instantly" titles and can access the ****** VOD options. There are other benefits offered over the Cable Co DVR, but these are the cream of the crop for me.
