I purchased a Philips Home Theatre system with DVD player, model HTS355537 in December of 2007. In November of 2008 it stopped working and I took it in for my extended warranty coverage repair. Sears was forced to replace the item since Philips no longer has replacement parts for that model. I have to take a Samsung unit for comparable cost. I have to wait over a month for the Samsung to arrive at the store and I have the Philips speakers mounted into the ceiling (I did not have to return them to Sears).
