looking for value, safety conscious, budget conscious, not rich
I lucked out when my "in-laws" decided to purchase our car seat for our first child. I had looked on line, talked with friends that had kids and we spent at least 45 minutes looking at a display of all the car seats in Target. Finally a mom told us her experiences with each brand of car seat. Her favorite was the Britax brand.
