My Admiral Washer, will let the water go in the washer but will not advance or go th the wash cycle or rinse cycle, even when I adavance it. C

Thanks for your comment. I WAS hoping that was the case. My husband actually said the same thing so I DID stand there without lifting the lid to see what would happen. The drum just didn't spin! I watched as the sink filled with water taking your advice into consideration. All the water drained, it didn't spin and moved onto the rinse cycle. I spoke to the salesman from Sears that sold it to us. He gave me the impression that he knew it was an issue, without actually saying it. Long story short, we will be heading back to Sears today so I can pick out a totally different machine! I'm still confused as to which one I should get but I"ll figure it out once I get there!
Thanks again! I'll be back to discuss my experience.
