Actron PocketScan Code Reader
I have had this tool for quite some time now at least 4+ years and have used it on nearly every vechicle that I have seen with a check engine light. It may not be the deluxe version with full engine monitiring. Or give you full explinations on the trouble codes but it will get you through with the booklet. It will be very helpful for the backyard mechanic who cannot find the value in spending $200 or more on a professional diagnostic tool.
All in all I would recommend for anyone who works on pre- 2000 cars because things can start to get to complex after that and a professional may need to look...
