Hi there, we just purchased this tree, but I failed to realize that it continually rotates. We have not picked it up yet at Sears, but is paid for. You mentioned you CAN stop the rotation, is that correct? Just makin sure before we go and get it. If we do plug it into a ext. cord, the lights still work..right? and is it true you have to select the favorite lights each time you turn it on? It doesn't automatically come back on to what you had.... If you could answer me, that would be wonderful! Have a great one!
