Absolutely LOVE this fridge! Bought in Dec 2008, and I still love it. I have had ZERO issues/repairs. It's beautifully quiet. It makes plenty of ice. Ice and water taste great (and I've got REALLY hard water). I'm trying hard to think of a con and I just can't! If you are on the fence about getting this HUGE 29 cf fridge vs. a 23-25 cf fridge - the extra space is well worth the upgrade. I can't say enough about how wonderful it is to have plenty of space, a place for everything and everything in it's place. Even my husband keeps things organized and puts things back where they belong - because...

In response to sugarbeetp's comment from Nov 2, 2009:

Thanks, Pam! The fridge will just be for my husband and myself, too. Our
boys are grown and on their own. I guess bags of frozen veggies would be fine
in the top basket. I, like you, try to eat fresh items as often as possible.
I'll take another trip down to Sears to play with both refrigerators again.
It's a big commitment. The Samsung is definitely a better buy, I just have to
see if I can live with the drawer not pulling out. You've been great. Thanks
    for the advice! Johanna

Hello! Maybe you can help me decide. I am torn between the Samsung frig. and the Kenmore elite which has double freezer drawers. I like the look of both, but it bothers me that the freezer top basket in the Samsung does not pull all the way out. It seems like it would be hard to get things out, especially with the refrig. doors closed. Please tell me your experience with the Samsung freezer baskets. Thanks! JTM
