would take two weeks to get out to us

air conditioning service —

I called on July 20th to get my air conditioner fixed and I was told it would be july 30th before they could get out and fix it. I live in San Antonio wher the temperature is in the upper 90's almost 100 degrees. I have had a service contract with Sears that I have not used until now and I have a 6 month old baby and elderly parents that live in the house and I would think that they could get out sooner than that. The temperature in the house with the windows open and fans going reaches up into the 100's in the afternoon. I was put on a waiting list put was told that they would not be able to do any more than that.

The same thing happened to me and I was foolish enough to wait for them, I had 5 cats and two dogs. Two of my cats got sick, refused to eat and ended dying from liver shutdown, but only after I had taken them to the vet and shelled out over 1500 on the one and 800 on the second one. They were also in pain for several weeks before they passed away. Next time, I'll get the repair man out or go to a hotel.

Your lucky. In Arizona with the temp about 115 I was without air from May, 10 2009 through September 15, 2009. Had to move out of house since my wife has had open heart surgery and cannot take of 90 degrees,
