I went to Kmart to buy a Craftsman saw that was on sale but they were out of them.  I had a $10 off coupon for using my Sears credit card.  The salesperson sent me to Sears stating that they would honor the Kmart coupon.  I wasted my time and gas driving to Sears but they would not honor the coupon.  My Sears Card states that I have been a card holder since 1974.   With the experiences I've had over the last couple of years I'm ready to cut up my Sears card.

i think you mean one dumb store employee doesnt pay attention when theyre manager tells them how coupons work at orientation

Company mergers, takeovers, and buy outs are never an easy mess to sort out. The two stores have KEPT their own names. Why would they become seamless processors of each other's marketing promotions? That is a HUGE expectation!
