I have worked with lots of people that had their on brand of tools and to me they were no where near as good as Craftsman, plus if it breaks you just take it back for another one with no questions asked. When it comes to tools people want product that they know will be sturdy, dependable and easy to use. These tools have always had that reputation. I am not a person that works a lot with tools so It means a lot to me to have tools that are good when I do. I have had cheap tools in the past and found that they are time consuming and sometimes painful to work with. So, this is an area where people need to purchase the best.
I love the new and improved Craftsman polished Professional hand wrench sets. I use them just as much as my Snap-on tools....that's right I said it...SNAP-ON TOOLS! I like them just as well or mabye better and it's easier to bring them back if one does break..no chasing down the Snap-on guy.I wished Craftsman would have made them sooner, I would have saved a lot of money. They are a great for new wrench buyers up to car techs.
I work as a mechanic and have found the Craftsman Professional hand tools as well as the regular Craftsman hand tools to be of great value. The lifetime warranty is great, and i believe it covers all hand tools. Craftsman is usually readily available unlike some other brands. Unfortunately, some of the Craftsman hand tools may not be of the same quality as some other professional brands. But they are still worth having. Even if they are just a back-up tool set for your preferred brand of hand tools. I personally own hand tools from three professional lines: Snap-On, Craftsman Pro, & Napa Pro....
read full review »I bought the 100 piece tool case for my husband almost 15 years ago for a present. To make a long story short, he left: Without his tools and I have used them at least weekly since then. I like to try to do different things without help from the handymen. I would say I am pretty good if I must say so myself. putting up shelves, fixing the lawnmower, puting on a lock etc. His tools were the best thing to happen during our married life, would not be without them.

Every Craftsman tool I have ever bought has met and/or exceeded my expectations. From my socket set to my lawnmower, I have never had any problems with any of them. Thank you Craftsman for providing a reliable product at an affordable price!! I'm a lifetime fan.
I am an inventor and I have been using Craftsman Tools for several years. I love them. There is a Craftsman Tool for every thing I ever think of building. They are reliable. My favorite is the Reversible Ratcheting Wrench. It makes mechanical assembly fast and easy. The reversible feature of this ratcheting wrench is great when you have to put on and take off the same thing again and again as I frequently have to do while developing a prototype and making incremental changes.
I found an old rusty craftsman ratchet which I cleaned up and had been using for several years when I learned that Sears would honor the Craftsman guarantee and replace old tools I took it to Sears and to my suprise , I traded my old faithful ratchet for a brand new one. That was more than 20 years ago. Since that time I have found that Craftsman tools are more durable and last longer than other brands that have similar "life time guarantees.",
Other than rounding-off the heads of some screwdrivers due to stubborn screws I've never had a Craftsman tool fail me. The great thing about the hand-tools is that they have a Lifetime Warranty, so they replace my screwdrivers when they get screwed up!
I am really very satisfy with this brand , it is such a hard working brand, strong too, and it is very handy .

I use Craftsman tools because they are really good quality tools that come with a lifetime guarantee. They are also priced very reasonably and fit within my budget. Can't go wrong with American made Craftsman tools!
Have used craftsman tools for years. If I have a problem with one they replace it without question.
a great hand tool .cant beat the price compared to other.
Over the years Craftsman hand tools have never let me down. Strong, durable and the right tool for the job at hand.
